I know this tip is in direct opposition to the healthy eating WFMW tip of two weeks ago... now you know why my scale goes up and down, up and down....
Anyhow, next time you're cooking bacon for a bunch, make it in the oven! Spread the slices on a baking sheet and cook at 350 for 15-20 minutes. The bacon will cook evenly, look nice when done, and leave you free to do other things instead of getting splattered by grease on the stove.

Great tip! I love bacon, but hate the mess it makes all around the stove. I'll definitely be trying this.
No splatter! Great idea! My son would eat 3 pounds of bacon a day if I would let him!
What an excellent idea! I will have to do this the next time I am using bacon. I would love to not have to do it in a skillet! Thanks for sharing.
After struggling with bacon for years, I was so tickled to learn this trick...keep sharing this one!
I know that there are women everywhere still standing over a frying pan!
Blessings!

That will totally work for me! Bacon at our house is at least 2lbs at a time with 7 kiddos and a bacon eating fiend for a husband, hehe.
I love that idea, I can't wait to try it !

Whether we make 1/2 a pound or two pounds, it evaporates too quickly! Thanks for the post.
What a great idea! I will have to give it a try. I can't stand cleaning up the mess after having cooked bacon. I make it less often than the family would like just because of the mess it makes.
I started doing this a couple of years ago thanks to my mother-in-law. It's a great way to cook bacon! I usually wipe down the oven with vinegar and water afterwards to kill the bacon smell.
I'm off to do this right now! Thanks for the tip...I came back to find it. :-)
